Description
Make scratch mittens for baby in the hoop! After much testing and thought, we have developed this design. Our fox mittens are fully lined, have both an elastic casing AND velcro closure to keep the mittens secure and comfy on baby. They come in four sizes and are made in EVERY hoop size! Eyelashes stitch separate to allow a boy version. Skip the Flower parts to make boy version
4x4 makes newborn and preemie size
(please note that due to the size of the 4x4 hoop, these versions of the mittens are lined but there is an extra step on the sewing machine.)
5x7 makes newborn and preemie completely lined in the hoop AND makes 3-6 month and young child size lined but there is an extra step on the sewing machine for these two sizes
6x10 makes newborn, preemie and 3-6 month completely lined in the hoop.
8x12 makes the young child size completely lined in the hoop.
Most users will be using the 5x7 size for preemie and newborn.
Supplies:
========
Embroidery Machine
Scissors
Stabilizer
Scotch tape
Optional Glue Gun
Fabric with stretch such as knit or fleece or Shannon Minky
Velcro 1" wide (I used DOUBLE SIDED velcro from amazon, it is way more soft than traditional velcro)

I used a sewing machine to close a tiny opening left for turning. Its hidden inside the mittens.

Resizing Embroidery Designs:
Because our embroidery designs come in multiple sizes, we do not recommend resizing our designs. Resizing a design can result in unpredictable results. They cannot be enlarged or shrunk down and still stitch out in the same quality as was originally digitized. And this is why our embroidery designs come in multiple sizes.
