Product Overview
Make two new cute pair of doll shoes made to fit our Holly Doll, Juno, April, Willow, and Fiona (size 15" -21"). This set of shoes include the t-bar mary janes, and the bow top shoe styles. Tops of the Shoes and inner soles are made in the hoop and assembly is done with a glue gun, instead of a sewing machine. Doll and suitcase and other items shown pictured are not included with your download, just the two sets of shoes made in the hoop.
Supplies:
Felt, vinyl or leather
If using fabric for the shoes, you also need steam a seam 2 sheets to make that fabric so it wont fray. You will take two pieces of fabric with a piece of steam a seam sandwiched and iron it
5mm Thick Fun Foam from the craft store. Its cheap and comes in several colors. I chose browns and white and black. They are 1.00 a piece
Velcro
Hot glue gun with regular high temp glue sticks
Something to make the core of the shoe stiff. I used thin cardboard. This is something that you will be glueing the parts of the shoe to. You can also use very stiff felt, heavy weight interfacing like the pellon or the really stiff felt from hobby lobby
You can use a 1/4" scrap of felt or the thinner fun foam (1mm thick) to go around the bottom edge of the shoe, or you can even use 1/4" ribbon as well
